Mitsubishi Motors and Browning joined together to launch the most luxurious and well equipped Shogun – the prestigious Mitsubishi Shogun Browning.
Modern design for the new breed of shooting vehicle
This was an interesting project that we were happy to collaborate with, with the designing, manufacture and supply of this truly bespoke cabinet, one that was born from a conversation at a shoot dinner following a fine day in the field.
After the initial meeting, to which, I took along a Battue box, it was soon realised that something more contemporary would be required to work with the Shogun, in fact, the comment of ‘it looks like someone has burgled a stately home and furnished a caravan’ set the scene.
The difficult part of gun cabinet design, is to firstly, secure the cabinet safely and securely with-in the vehicle and then, to fit everything in the given space that the customer would like to take, something akin to packing the holiday suit-case…
In this case, the fact that one drawer was given over to the pair of Browings that are part of the package, took care of one drawer.
The other was given over to bibation, Nine individually numbered crystal tumblers, with Three mixed bottles of Foxdenton English fruit gins the chosen tipple, all held securely in place in their own bespoke holder.
